It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Penn Manor Athletic Program. We are excited that your son/daughter has chosen to participate on one of our athletic teams and is preparing for the challenges and rewards that come with the experiences of interscholastic athletics.
As the Director of Athletics at Penn Manor, my goal is to establish a positive and safe environment that fosters complete development of our student-athletes on and off the competition fields and teaches necessary life skills. Penn Manor is committed to providing your son/daughter with a high-quality athletic experience which promotes teamwork, sportsmanship and a commitment to excellence in the classroom, on the fields of competition, and within the community.
The Comets’ coaching staff is dedicated to helping your son/daughter develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in both athletics and life. Coaches are committed to providing a positive and supportive environment that encourages personal growth, leadership development, and a passion to compete in sports.
Penn Manor School District is made up of administrators, teachers, support staff, coaches and alumni who want to see our student-athletes succeed. They are here to develop our student-athletes into outstanding citizens who will go on to do great things in the future. We are very thankful for their support and would not be able to achieve excellence without their help.
In order to ensure a successful experience, we ask that you familiarize yourself with the practices, procedures, and expectations outlined in this student-athlete/parent handbook. We believe that a strong partnership between parents, coaches, student-athletes, and administration is essential for the success of our athletic program and we look forward to enhancing your student’s experiences.
Thank you for entrusting us with your student’s athletic experience. As always, it is a great day to be a Comet.
